joehtosis: They have nothing to calm down from, they're expressing disappointment, you're being dramatic.
They're perfectly within their right to feel scorned, free as it may be, those of us who decided to buy the game under the pretense that the DLC would be included have still been misled and that's something worth acrimony.

Nickcronomicon: Calling me dramatic when someone claims te be 'disrespected by devs' for not delivering their free cookie on time. Whatever. It'll be here soon and I'm patient enough to not be obsessed by it.
People buy the game for dirty cheap, DRM-free, updated offline installers and still find a way to complain. Like we're waiting 6 months for this DLC, with no games at all on our backlogs.

I'm not the one invalidating others experience based on my opinions, nor making it an emotional issue lol (at least in so far as asking people to calm down is emotional).
No one asked you to play babysitter and monitor customer feedback. Sorry if that offends you, but it's just how I see it.

"free cookie"
Nice, glad you both ignored the rest of my post and the crux of my argument lol, I'll do the same with yours.

yoones: I'm here waiting too, but hey I guess if you choose to buy it here, it was for a reason.
I'm disapointed, not by gog, nor the devellopers, but by the number of people who keep buying on Steam just because they can't wait, thus not helping getting the market back to what it was.
Certainly a fair point.

How is this "dirty cheap"? I paid for Blasp. on GOG just as much as it was on Steam, in fact most of the time games on GOG are *more* expensive because on Steam you have access to third party sites that resell keys with much lower prices than the standard regional price on Steam.

And this is not about "free cookie" or whatever, its about paying the same and being treated worse than other customers.
Dirt cheap?? It's the exact same price. It was on sale for half off at the EXACT same time. What kind of argument is this??
If anything, the Steam version is the one which gets sold by key sellers on G2A and other sites, which is WAY more of a problem than torrents at this point in time, not to mention the existence of sites with Cracked versions of damn near everything. The idea that GOG is some kind of uniquely easy way to steal games is not based in any actual reality.

Official announcement:

"Sinners,

The Stir of Dawn free DLC comes to GOG.com on Tuesday, 1st September.

Your penance is far from over..."

You know what, I use Galaxy and will make a backup of my save somewhere because I fear that when the update rolls up I will lose my progress. At the same time I'm considering to start from scratch.

The Game Kitchen's and similiar devs' beheaviours damage GOG. I can read everywhere comments like "I will never buy on GOG anymore". Sad.
When GOG is tolerating this is reiforcing the idea that PC=Steam - quoting an angry GOG buyer from the Steam Blasphemous forum.

Interesting. I actually paid more for it on GOG during the sale lol. It was like 15.99 or whatever on Steam at the time and iirc around $18 on GoG. Not a complaint, I don't mind paying the extra money for DRM free, but now I'm curious if I missed out on something lol.

Well if gog is not putting a pressure on developers, thus not having an aggressive behavior, it is certainly a point that makes me consider GOG better.
Now, what you said is right, it is probably reinforcing the idea for some customers that PC = Steam ; well let them be.

Steam has the power already, do not shoot yourself by disavowing GOG or pushing them to follow the pressure of the market and become a steam look alike, we've had humble bundle go this way.

Seriously was it that hard to wait ?
