1) The mouse cursor is still visible in-game when playing with mouse+keyboard, being able to hide it would be much appreciated. Just disabling it by default might be the easiest solution.

2) Should be "it" instead of "her" (not sure about this one, though) and "her" instead of "his" in the 'Heart of the Holy Purge's lore entry. If the young woman described in the text is supposed to be the one impaling herself and turning to stone in the very first cutscene.

3) Another graphics-related issue: There's this line-shaped artifact made up of a string of pixels that's, I believe, not supposed to be there. The one in the first screenshot is permanent, the one in the second and third screenshot is just very briefly visible the moment you go into 'Extras' and back again to the main menu.

Playing on 1920x1080 fullscreen with vSync off, by the way.

Looks like I didn't just imagine things and this particular issue is occurring for other people, too.

Curiously enough, for this guy the artifact is flipped horizontally and appears in a slightly different place (a little more to the right).

Bugs I've encountered so far
1. Game got stuck in the control menu, for some reason. Only quitting the game helped.
2. Game starts windowed for some reason
3. Lost the skin I've got after beating the game upon closing the game
4. Control scheme is set to default every time I quit
Removed: False report

Decided to start a new game since the 'Perpetua' fight bugged out on me during my first run and, lo and behold, the graphics artifact reported earlier has "doubled".

The sound settings reset every time I start the game. The video setting was set to default once too, and then a crash message has appeared.

It would be great to support the scroll button and additional mouse buttons to set. The controls settings are set to default every time too.
When i die, the controller buttons does not work. I have to use the keyboard to continue.

Also, the video settings always resets when i open the game.

How did it bug out for you? It's one-chance-only fight, just to be clear.
I also have issues with the visible cursor and that the game always starts in windowed mode.

Furthermore, in the inventory, the left/right shoulder button text is all messed up; also some button icons (A/B/X/Y) don't show.

Is that so?
I stand corrected then.

You can't re-initiate the fight by placing an offering at the tree then as well, I take it?
Whenever I try to continue, the game starts from the very beginning - instead of loading my save with 40% progress. Everytime it happens I almost get a heart attack :D
Reinstalling helps (I think its because of cloud), and thanks god installation procces is fast enough to do this again and again with no particular delay.

Whether it's intended or not, I'm not sure. But from a friend of mine who finished his first run I know that you don't encounter Perpetua again, at least not in a way that would grant you the same reward and achievement. Btw I lost the fight as I got one-shotted myself after being very low on health when entering the place for the 1st time. Bummer...

The offering is used for something else there, it grants you an item.

Exactly why I'll never use cloud saves.
And why I hadn't any problems with progress being reset or anything along those lines.

On Windows, navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow, look for a folder called "TheGameKitchen" and back it up, ideally after every session, so that there's something to fall back on in case the next time you start up Blasphemous and find that something went awry again with your save game or progress.

Thanks.
I wasn't that far into the game anyway, so starting all over again for the Perpetua fight was not that big of a deal in my case. Also wanted to see if the weird graphics artifacts-problem only myself and a couple other people seem to encounter persists.

I`ve read the devs answer on the same issue, they say its because game makes different saves depending on whether you launched it through galaxy or not.
Thanks for advice, so I can finally find where is my save located.
This game in general feels very weird from technical perspective, though I really like style and lore.

That means local saves does not match with cloud saves?
