who owns the rights to the game?

i would really like to buy it digitally. my cd is beyond worn down.
Its status, as per GOG wiki, is " Currently unavailable for digital purchase anywhere".

Real shame; one of the best old games and a pioneer to both its genre and new graphics technologies at the time, that only later became a mainstream.

yes i saw that, thats why i want to know who owns the rights to the game.
Maybe a split/mess of copyrights between a few.

I'm just guessing but you know, one have the rights of the engine, other over the trade mark, another more have the legal rights of the music or the character design... even an expired rights for something.

In the terms that developers of Rebel Act Studios were disbanded it would not be a surprise something like that.

I hope to be wrong though.

In the Spanish Wikipedia page, the retelling of the development process makes it sound like it might be a very complicated affair. Apparently the game took 4 years to develop and the developers signed 3 different publishing deals during this period.
