Any news about the next game ?
Not really. 2K last talked about it in... what was it, December of last year? I assume it's early in the development stages still given that they didn't really divulge much about it then either.

Oh ok, thanks !
From a realistic view, I doubt we see anything concrete about it for at least a year or two and that's probably being generous with the estimation of time.

I wonder where the game will take place, maybe underground ?
No idea. Job listings for the game suggested an urban setting, so it may not be following the separated from society "paradise" trope established in the other games and instead may focus on entirely different settings and themes.

Personally I'd be okay with entirely new ideas but I know that it's expecting too much and likely a risk of not turning a profit if they stray too far from what many fans associate in their minds when the series comes up in discussion.

I feel, overall, that the story of Rapture was effectively closed in Infinite. Whether it was a satisfying conclusion is perhaps up for debate, but I got the sense of it being an end.

Yes I agree with you, it was an end.

Anyway, the place wont be such important, I'm mostly waiting for the scenario and the gameplay

The unfortunate part about a new setting is that it has to follow two rather memorable places in both Rapture and Columbia. Those were essentially characters within the games, without having actual speaking roles. If it turns out to be true that they do opt to use a completely new location, then I'm eager to see what they come up with.

I'm also curious about the story though but so far not even the job listings have given any real insight into what that might hold.

In general I'm hoping that development of the game goes uninterrupted. It supposedly was being planned/worked on as far back as 2015 but the version of it from that time was apparently thrown out for reasons that the public will probably never truly be made aware of. The wait will probably be somewhat long, but as long as we get something out of it, then it will hopefully be worth it.

Yeah, I hope the developpment won't be like System Shock 3
