I tried running it in wine but I get no sound in videos. There is sound in menus, dialogs. Perhaps with native Linux version it would be solved.

Yeah, the video codec won't work - we will do a native version soon and it will be on GOG!
When can we expect linux version?

Steam offers Linux build (main branch), GoG not???
Looks like a game I'd snag up with a Linux version. +1 for Linux then I'd have 952 GOG games. :)

A big THANK YOU for all your efforts.
Especially at a time when some developer relies on a "Wine" emulator for the Linux version.
Some Company have always developed for Linux, and realize their latest games only for windo.
The Brotherhood, you are terrific!
Thank you for your work.

If I understand it correctly from the Steam forum there is currently a request to the VLC - UMP player dev open regarding video playback issues on AMD/RADEON graphics cards. Have not seen any news for that now. Would be great to have the Linux version comming soon and thank you very much for the effort.

The AMD issue is a problem that I will need to tackle. I don't have an AMD to test with so Ill need to get a cheap once once the COVID issue is sorted so I can test the game :)

Waiting for the Linux release on GOG too!
The silent about it is not a really good thing IMHO.

GOG is a lot more strict about release. They are not going to let me isolate an entire processor manufacturer (AMD) for a platform. Once I can find an AMD to test with then I will be able to see why videos don't play. If you check the Steam forum I have been adamantly trying to work out why they don't play on this specific hardware spec.

I know, on Steam it's officially supported. Good luck for this issue!

It is fully vetted and QA'd on Ubuntu on any Intel PC - we tested that with third parties and in-house.
The AMD/Radeon cards don't want to play the cutscenes and this seems to be the case on ARCH as well.

Nic
LINUX is coming soon! Stay tuned.
