Hello,

This issue is currently being worked on in the BR Discord. If you could send your save file right there, I would take a look at it!

same here :O healp
i also have this problem? could you take a look at my save files too or giving the solution to fix it?

The original poster never sent the files and, due to some issues with the game, is unable to do so. So if you could send them, I would be glad. If more and more people experience it, the case has to be investigated.

If you could do that on Discord via the link above, I would be double glad. But if you send them here, works too.
After playing through WhiteBeard's save and experiencing no issues, I've concluded it's more of a hardware/software issue.

If anyone who experiences this issue could post their PC specs, nVIDIA control panel settings set for battle_realms_f.exe and the resolution of the game you play with (for example 1024x768, stretched to 1920x1080 or true 1920x1080 with FOV patch applied), I would be grateful, and that would surely help to see what you guys have in common that possibly triggers the crash.

Video of me playing through WB's save. The only building that was left to destroy (and that I wasn't able to find for the next 10 minutes of the game) was a Vitality Garden. After it was destroyed, the mission was completed successfully.

I can suggest dgVoodoo2 as a (temporary) workaround:

Try this:https://www.gog.com/forum/battle_realms/could_not_find_supported_display_mode_on_launch/post5

Talking about dgVoodoo2 in particular, skip the widescreen patch or install it as well, let me know if it helps.

Howdy, I can provide you with a saved game, just next to the last building standing: here.
I'm using the widescreen executable (tried the voodoo thing as well, no luck), playing on a laptop with Win10. It has an AMD Radeon R5 M330.
Alternatively, if you don't encounter any issue while using my file, it would be great to just share a savegame just after finishing that mission.

Same problem on Wolf genocide stage. Last building destruction results in a crash to desktop.

dgVoodoo: don't know if I didn't do something, but the crash still happens. This time in stretched widescreen and with watermark (removed watermark later, but crash still happens).

Widescreen + FOV: still crashes.

Windows 10
GeForce 1050 Ti
default high resolution
FOV/WS patch: yes and no
no special nVidia settings

Edit: I was wrong. I didn't manage to remove the watermark. It just wasn't picking up the Voodoo dlls. dgVoodoo works with the DirectX dlls, but any changes I make to the program do not take effect.

Unfortunately the crash can't be reproduced in my case. I have no idea why this error happens and why it happens only for a part of players.

I posted the save that comes right after that mission in BR Discord. That's the only thing I can do in this case.

Thanks! I'm currently contemplating whether I should reload the end of Serpentholm and pick Lotus instead of Wolf, or if I should use your save.

Anyone had any problems with any other missions? Say, the Lotus ones?
Update: Instead of fighting the Wolf clan, I re-loaded Serpentholm and chose to attack the Lotus. The game plays fine after that without the need of mods or patches. I've completed it with no problems.

Searching YouTube for the video at the end of the Wolf mission, though :(
