Sorry if this sounds noobish but for the Full Screen Output i set as "Display 1", yet it still shows me that message.

This is the setting i'm using

As far as I remember, the second monitor should be disabled (WinKey + P combination). Try do disable 1 monitor and go with another. Meanwhile I'll think of possible solutions.

Rasterizing API is graphics related. So I would only blame the videocard or videocard device manager settings.

The things is dgVoodoo is supposed to eliminate ALL of those problems since it's a wrapper program. Especially if it's paired with the Resolution patch. Is your "Disable and passthru to real DirectX" option checked? Because it shouldn't be.

Ok, let's try once again.

1. Install the resolution patch over 1.50q (Winter Of The Wolf)
2. Install dgVoodoo and use the settings from the screenshots below:

Today i've tried but still no use

1. The resolution patch is it referring to the widescreen patch?
2. for the dgVoodoo do i have to place it inside the Battlerealms folder or it needs to be seperate outside for it to work?

And thx for continuesly helping. really apprecciate it

1. It's not just a widescreen patch, it allows other 4:3, 5:4 resolutions as well. But to answer your question- yes.
2. https://www.play-old-pc-games.com/compatibility-tools/dgvoodoo-tutorial/ <- Here's an instruction on how to configure dgVoodoo2.
Small update since GreyKnight decided to keep silence.

The FOV + Widescreen patch solves this issue on Win10. You just have to patch it and set the values in the ini (according to instructions). The game works fine after.
Wanted the easy way with that compiled file with instructions but at VirusTotal.com it scored 13/58 detections while files from original site are clean, maybe you should check the computer where you compiled these files.

The PC is absolutely fine. FOV changer from wsgf gives the same results. It's a crack after all, of course AV soft is going to alert you.

Works great! The only issue was that it ran at extremely high fps, causing unnecessary load on my system. But that could be fixed with dgVoodoo.

Looks also really nice in 1080p, with AF and AA.

where is the patch available? and is it for only for the English version or also for the German one?
and work it also on old systems (vista and seven)?

i have tried different patches and none of them works

also with dgVoodoo it don't works

it is ever 1024x768 the maximum resolution in the settings menu of Battle Realms.

at my desktop i have set a resolution of 1680 x 1050 at a Refresh rate of 61Hz and a Color depth of 32-bit.

i have bought and installed the "Battle Realms + Winter of the Wolf" game from GOG.COM

Hi @BRJoker, I've been trying to stream Battle Realms on twitch and I am using stream labs OBS, but I can't seem to capture the game. I have looked everywhere and was told that dgvoodoo would fix the issues and, yes, I managed to stream.

However... Now I encountered another issue, the terrain is not rendering properly for instance: the terrain is very bright and doesn't render textures like grass, dirt, stones, and, sometimes not even the unit faction colors (just white where the colors should be), also the minimap and the terrain will only show water and trees (I have the GOG version).

I have seen forums that suggest enabling the "Override application settings" in my graphics card settings (in anti-aliasing), and have the anti-aliasing level to 8X. I have tried this but to no success, it still gives me the same glitch. I have also always run the game with Admin privileges, but again... nothing.

After so many tries and reinstalls, I learned that the only thing that is causing this glitch is the Dgvodoo DDraw.dll, as by deleting it from the game folder will remove the glitch the game works perfectly fine!

BUT... without that DLL I can't capture the game on stream
Does anyone still have a link to these patches? Neither of the original links seem to work.
