I can buy it on steam and from Telltale. I can play it on various consoles. So why can't I play it on GOG? I want to support GOG but if this kind of thing continues then they will be always a second choice vendor, which is a shame.
Same case as episodes 2&3 (which were delayed by 3-4 days for gog) and most of the first season.
Been waiting the whole day for the update, which sadly didn't happen and we'll probably be getting it tomorrow (hopefully).
Would be nice to know something..anything, in fact.
I'm in the same boat as you guys. I don't get why, but I'll wait because I love GOG even I'm getting crazy lol
hope to see it tomorrow.
GOG can't do much. All these delays on TellTale's games are because of TellTale. Hopefully it won't be too long until release on GOG.
Nothing new here, this always happen.

Do you have a source or some proof on this? I too am sick of this nonsense. We're all paying customers too, we should get our game the same day everyone else does. I really want to know who's responsible for it so I can stop giving them money. Do I boycott TellTale or do I boycott GOG?

Although at this point, I'm so fed up with the lack of communication from both parties that I might just give up on both of them.

I am really glad that that Telltale has plenty of time to take dumb selfies instead of giving us paying customers our game! https://twitter.com/telltalegames/status/978726388067782656

Yeah, GOG is great on the cheap games. I assume they want people to buy their expensive stuff too, so I don't get why they don't fix this. They've known the release date for at least as long as us, and Telltale are doing their part to generate hype, so they really should plan ahead better. My money is on GOG as the culprit for that reason; I can't imagine this being in Telltale's interest. OTOH, Telltale could help by giving us access to the in-game downloads.

I contacted TellTale support ages ago, back when it took almost a week for episode 2(or maybe it was 3) to come out. They said it's on their side because of the GOG achievements.

Meanwhile, Warhorse's Kingdom Come: Deliverance did not see a stand-alone patch for the new version until three days after Galaxy version got patched.

You know what pisses me off? Galaxy was supposed to be "optional." But it gets faster patching, and now apparently delays releases because of stupid acheesemint integration. Meanwhile, the Classic Installers (you know, the "core promise" of GOG) get second-class treatment and the worst of both worlds - delayed versions compared to Galaxy, and delayed releases because of Galaxy.

Actually seems it's available on Telltale, at least judging by the forum messages about ep. 5. Anyway, it's everywhere: walkthrough on Youtube, a complete written one on oneangrygamer, available on Steam and, heck, even on piratebay.

Is it so damn difficult to make a simple copy and paste ?
It is updating now!!! Go and play it! :D (I live in Italy, hope it works for other countries too)
Yep, I just finished downloading the episode. Thankfully we only had to wait one more day for it.

Have fun playing guys!

If that's the cause of the delay, that's absolutely not worth it. Even if I still cared about earning achievements, the achievements in this game are pointless. There's no bragging rights in a list that's handed to you just for completing the game. I'd much rather they leave out the achievements and just give us the game on time. How long does it take to put in acheivements anyway?! What's so difficult about it that they haven't mastered it after all the episodes they've released on GOG?

And again, I'd much rather they publically state this stuff rather than making us ask them.

I was already using Galaxy because I like the library management features and I definitely like the cloud saves. But I had no idea it was causing this lack of parity between Galaxy users and non-Galaxy users. That really sucks.

I hope you'll forgive me if I don't share in your enthusiasm that we "only had to wait one more day". We shouldn't have had to wait any extra time, it should have been available at the same time for all platforms.
