I didn't recruit Keldorn while doing the Cult of the Eye quest, but now I've got this great Paladin only sword, and was thinking about trying him out - but I can't find him. He's not in his mansion, can't find him in sewers ( Cult quest done long ago). Any place else to look??

Also, when I start the Throne of Bhaal, I've read that you can NOT go back to the city, so I won't be able to change/recruit any other npcs from the Copper Coronet?????

Try the Order's HQ in the Temple District.
Regarding ToB I think you'll have an option to summon companions of choice early in the game.
