Has anyone else here experienced weird fog of war when playing the game? It's like the border tiles of the fog aren't placed correctly. Not a very significant bug, but very obvious and distracting one still.

If it matters, I'm running this in win 7 64bit. I fooled around with the graphic settings a bit and even installed an nVidia fix I saw posted here, but no luck so far.

Thanks in advance.

Setting Color Depth to 16 and turning on Software Mirror BLT was the only way I could fix that problem.

Oh, hey! That actually works!

Thanks man.
No problem. I spent the good part of my morning trying to figure it out!
...Seriously? I could of just done that?

I spent 3+ hours researching that bug - 64bit only, it seems - and ended up messing with the openGL and messing with Nhancer... -_-

I hate my life sometimes.
Yeah had this exact same problem, and halo131's solution worked for me also.
Much better now.
Thanx so much!
omg :) thx alot for this simple fix halo131. i have tried all kinds of mods but i really just wanted to play a clean BG1 game without that anoying og of war bug and surely the tip u presented seems to work like a charm on my gts 250, u are the man thx :)
Does anyone know of any other fixes? Unfortunately software mirror BLT makes the game unplayably slow for me.

Another solution is to combine BG1 with BG2 to use a newer game engine.
