I'm happy to report that BGT is up and running with zero issues!

The BGII ToB latest patch was the issue

While you need the latest patch txt doc in your BGII - SoA folder for verification, DO NOT add the actual contents of the patch in the folder.

For those reading along, I had to down and run the latest Bioware patch - which dumped the patch contents onto C: root. I then had to copy the the read me patch txt into the BGII - SoA folder, because the installer will ask you to complete the patch before proceeding. Copy the txt into the BGII - SoA folder, "verifies" that you've patched the game, and the install continues (hopefully) without a hitch.

Thanks to you guys for helping me troubleshoot this issue! BGT loads perfectly now :)
