So I just beat Baldur's Gate for the first time. I was wondering what the statues were at the end. Are they all Bhaal's children? If so, that man's a beast.

I think they're supposed to be, yes, but most of his kids aren't anywhere near as powerful as Sarevok or your PC. As for the ones that are......well, if you continue the series, you might run into them. :)

Well he was a god made mortal and set to walk in the world, he'll have more bastards than a touring rock group in the 80s
From what I remember, Aluandro (thus Bioware, since they wrote the prophesies) said that there would be hundreds upon hundreds of Bhaalspawn, but only half a dozen who would actually leave their mark on on Faerun. Without giving too much away, everything in the rest of the series seems to support this.
Pretty sure Bhaal earned every right to change his title to god of procreation if you look at all the bhaalspawn you run into near the end. Even a party of all-bhaalspawn goblins near the fortress of another bhaalspawn whose position suggests he has killed a lot of bhaalspawn himself.

It gets pretty ridiculous. And by that I mean awesome.
Isn't there a bhaalspawn rabbit somewhere in ToB? An evil, bhaalspawn rabbit that is. With sharp, pointy teeth...
