Just encountered this error message on BG1. I was playing perfectly fine this afternoon, but now i get on the game and it's telling me that Saving failed when i try to save my game, i tried quick saves and manual saves...nothing, even auto saves aren't happening.

Any ideas? :|

Check out this topic. The issue looks similar.
In short, turning off UAC should help.

Seems that was the culprit, i turned off run as admin while trying to get raptr to recognize when i played the game and i guess that was the problem since it works after running the game as an admin.
