I originally went ahead with the neutral evil mage Edwin to kill her but chose to save her instead. She joined the party and then later on I met Minsc. He wanted me to rescue her, which I already had. I had him join my party (idk if this is normal but Minsc or Dynaheir can't join by themselves, they have to be a package deal) but the quest from Minsc to rescue her. How do I "complete" that quest and get rid of it on the quest list? It doesn't hamper the gameplay any that I noticed, but it's annoying.

Edit* Edwin is waiting for me at the gnoll stronghold and is offering to still join my party, even though I broke my word with his quest.

There isn't a 'completed' quest list in the original Baldur's Gate, so you must be talking about either TuTu or BGT. If that's the case, it's very likely just a bug in the mod. Even in vanilla BG2, some quests don't get updated properly. Just live with it, or report it to the appropriate mod/author forum.
Try kicking Dynahier out of the party temporarily. If Minsc stays, then speak to her again and - with any luck - the quest will register as complete. If Minsc leaves, try talking to him again and getting him back into the party. If he then joins on his own, talk to Dynahier and again the quest will hopefully complete. If he joins with Dynahier, try kicking them both out again and talking to Dynahier on her own first. You may possibly need to do all this in the gnoll stronghold area.

If this doesn't work, you may need to use the console to set the quest to completed.

Unfortunately this didn't work. I guess I'll just live with it. Thanks for the reply though.
