I've installed both BG1 and BGII followed by the BGT mod and then the Wide Screen mod. No matter what my resolution is, the game will not fill the screen. It stays to the lower right of the screen.

That is to say, I cannot see the right edge or the lower edge of the screen. So, I can't scroll in either of those directions. I can scroll up and left, however because I can see those edges. I've included a screenshot. Any assistance with this would be grand.

Edit: This also occurs without the Wide Screen mod.

What OS, and what folder did you install to?

Running Windows 8 Release Preview (have had no issues with other games).

Installed to Programs Files (x86)>GOG.com>Baldur's Gate II

Radeon 4870 graphics card
I got a similar thing with IWD when I run the game without the widesreen mod.
It might be the windows protecting the files in Program Files folder from unauthorized changes and the mod doesn't actually do anything.
Does the same happen if you install the game and then the mod in another folder, eg C:\Games\Baldur's Gate II?

Haven't tried that but I'll give it a shot and report back.
So, I installed it into a non-program files directory not thinking it would help much. And, my skepticism paid off. ;) Still doing the same thing. I mean, I can play the game, it's just a pain in the arse to do so. I have to click on the map and move the rectangle to the right or down in order to go those directions.

Anybody got a clue on this?

I have the exact same problem. I followed the "Baldur's Gate 2 essential mods" instructions and this problem occurs with and without the wide screen mod.
