Hi, when I look at the area map ingame each point of interest has a little coloured icon. Right clicking on these allows me to select a colour from a choice of 8. One of mine in the starting area is green (the temple), the others are all purple but I'm not sure if I set it to green myself while randomly clicking about.

Is there any logic to what colour these are set to, I can't seem to find any reference to them in the manuals or from a quick search on the net. Does the game set them to a colour based on some rules or are they simply something I can set if it helps to remind me of something at the location?

Yeah, I like to color coordinate my map markers, too.

Green = Temple/Healing
Red = Weapon/Armor/Shops
Blue = Magic/Scroll/Shops
Gold = My Stash of Valuable Items :D
