Tried to ran it vanilla, both 1 & 2, and with tutu, on win 7 32 & 64 bit. Couldn't even get to create or join a game without windowing it. And now it comes up with "couldn't connect to the game session". Tried Hamachi too, but not GameRanger (nor will I).
Anyone got it working?

It creates another installation. GameRanger only recognizes bg1 and 2.
