I recently downloaded Baldur's Gate I and II and installed all the suggested mods for playing Baldur's Gate II complete. I'm having issues with my keyboard though. When I get to the point where I can name my character, it's in as 4py4py4py4py and if I delete a letter, it automatically fills it in with 4, p, or y. If I accept that name, it will keep on pausing the game once it starts. I've been able to run it every now and then by restarting my computer, but sometimes it takes a few tries. I'd rather not have to restart my computer multiple times to possibly play this game. Anyone else have this or a similar problem? All suggestions are welcome

Having the same issue here, but for me is the number 6.
And inside the game it moves the camera to the right =(

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's part of the problem. The first reboot doesn't always work, so sometimes to play this game I end up having to reboot a few times. Is there a fix that will not involve reboots ever time I want to play?

The problem is a driver problem, that is why a reboot fixes it. It has nothing to do with the game. Update your drivers (keyboard, mouse, tracker... anything).
Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to try that during some down time tomorrow since I haven't updated any drivers since getting my computer a year and a half ago.
Saw this glitch here, and I'm experiencing the same thing. Problem is, I've installed all my drivers, and the issue still persists. Any more advice?
