I got a copy of bg2 and bg1 and bg1 is unbearable without the bg2 engine.
I'm trying to install TuTu but the installer wont show up.

Did you get EasyTutu from here? http://www.usoutpost31.com/easytutu/
The one you need is EasyTutu_ToB.exe (if you have the GOG version of BG2)

EasyTutu_ToB.exe is a compressed file.
By Default it will extract the setup files to C:\Temp\EasyTutuSetup
Just click install.

What happens when you click on EasyTutu_ToB.exe?


Be aware that both BG1 & BG2 need to be clean installations with no mods.

Yes I've got the ToB.exe and I've extracted the contents to the temp directory and I'm running the installer (setup.exe) as administrator and it doesn't SHOW UP. I see it in the processes tab of the task manager but the setup never shows up on screen.

Could be a compatibility problem with the version of installshield.
Try going to
C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\CommonFiles\ & delete the Installshield Directory.
If it doesn't fix it you can just restore the files.

This is not working for me. I tried deleting the installshield, I tried running the setup as admin. it shows up in task manager, but still won't open.
I have also patched BG2 with the required patch listed here http://usoutpost31.com/easytutu/
Have also tried deleting both games and reinstalling them, and redownloading and reinstalling easytutu

Don't patch the GOG version, it is already up to date.
Installing a patch just stuffs it up.

Kill rundll32 from Task Manager and try again. Worked for me when I installed yesterday.

This usually happens because I have Google Chrome opened
Don't ask me why, but as soon as I close it, every instance of InstallShield I tried to run instantly pops up.
