Spoilers...

Hello everyone!

At the start of BG1 you get attacked very frequently. There's the necromancer at the Friendly Arm Inn, the dwarf in Beregost, and two attacks in Nashkel.

If they succeeded in killing the PC, how far do they think they can get? I know they didn't pay the guards to look the other way because the guards actually help me fight these guys. The only bounty hunters I can think of who actually attack you in an isolated location (and by no coincidence, are the hardest to deal with) are the women who confront you after you leave the Nashkel mines and the group of ogre magi in Baldur's Gate.

Oh, some get *very* far. The two assassins you kill in Candlekeep tutorial? They get to the Bridge District in Athkatla. :D

Wow, I forgot about those two and I didn't notice they were in BG2. Thanks for bringing that up! Is there an explanation as to how they got there or did they teleport through plot hole?

I'll have to give credit where it's due; even if they are the first two kills that all of my characters get, being able to slither into Candlekeep is a sign that they're effective killers. And they weren't stupid enough to attack me in front of an entire precinct.

Two words: artistic license. :)
