I was wondering, if anyone can say for sure, how GoG's version of the EEs will update themselves. Since they (thankfully) do not have a third party launcher/program involved, will they have the file separate for download and install, or update themselves automatically upon being launched?

Usually at GOG, whenever a game is patched, they update the main installer, and often they also provide the patch as a separate download. I don't see this game being treated differently in that regard.
