When you played for many days and really appreciated the game for the first time. How old were you?

I was actually just 8-9 years old. We played Baldur's gate 2 on my friends pc back then along with half-life and i still remember how mindblowing it was! and hard...

Well, when BG1 came out I bought it right away as I was a huge D&D fan. I was 28. I remember being excited because I had just "upgraded" my computer to 4MB of ram so I could play.

I was probably 14 or 15; I'd had the game for a while, but I'd never gotten into it. My mother went into the hospital for surgery, and suddenly I was spending all my time not at the hospital on the game. By the time she got out, I was practically done with BG1 and went straight in BG2 afterwards. (And yes, she's perfectly fine, if anyone cares.)
