Ok, lots of posts about graphic issues.

My problem = the game animations (exploding goblin) and corpses are giving graphical issues - they to be on a black back ground instead of the true back ground.

Any ideas ?

graphics card = 8800 GT Nvidia
Core2duo processor 3 Ghz

You can try changing the graphics in Options: select 16bit color depth and try each (one at a time) one of the correcting Software BLT options to make the boxes disappear.

Or try the nvidia fix.

try turning on the 3d accelerator it fixed everything that you mentioned and fixed all the lagging
