I downloaded BG1 and TotSC to a folder in my C: drive as opposed to program files but still can't seem to find a file save location that works with Gatekeeper. Help would be very appreciated, thank you!

On Vista & Windows 7 the saves are located in the Virtual Store -

c:\users\username\appdata\local\program files\application\

For older games it's sometimes easier if you install them outside of Program Files

Really? My BG, Tutu, and BG2 save folders are all located in the main folders for each. I know Shadowkeeper expects you to point to the installation folder, not the save folder, so maybe you should try that?

Gatekeeper is the same.
Point it to your baldur's gate directory, not your save directory.
