Hey all, I'm getting ready to install BG1 & BG2 complete using the BGT mod setup guide and I would like to hear any tips on what stats I should do (especially to get the most out of dialogue and lore the more the better for me :)

Also what banter/romance extra mods etc would users recommend?




(Note: I know not all users like a first timer wanting to add mods that add a lot of extra stuff but I like to get as much content as I can out of my games :p)

Hi,

I played the vanilla versions of BG and, to tell the truth, I am not sure if there is a stat that helps with dialogue. I am not sure whether mods change this, however.

We did do a sort of mod spotlight for BG & BG 2:

Wow fast reply :) thanks okay just wanted to make sure about the stats and yeah that is the guide I plan to follow.

I'm just not sure whats the best banter/romance mods etc to add a long with it since searching I found a few of them

You can use the BG2Tweaks romance cheats to romance the bioware girls, but it will cause problems with most mod romances.

Fade is my favourite BG2 romance.
Imoen romance is good, but a lot harder to complete.
Tashia is good too, & if you don't want to romance her, shes a handy sorcerer.

For the BG1 romances, Dynahier & Sharteel are both great. Check the romance readme for the needed player stats.
