I've noticed recently that the water in the original saga (atleast on my PC) has some gray texture/color and I'm honestly curious is this normal ?

By the way, this is usually on the lakes and fountains, the sea is blue.

No, it's not normal. The water is supposed to be blue (see attached).

In your 'baldur.ini' make sure the following are set as shown:

[Program Options]
SoftBlt=0
SoftMirrorBlt=1
Translucent Shadows=1
Sprite Mirror=0
Gamma Correction=0
Brightness Correction=0
BitsPerPixel=16
3D Acceleration=1

Sorry for the late reply Hick, but even after changing the 'baldur.ini' to the settings you wrote it's still the same issue.

Might I know where you took your picture from ? What area and spot exactly, because this is where I took mine:

Mine was the river in Nashkel. I just started a new game to test your area and mine's the same. If you look at the cliff face it's all shaded, so I can only deduce that the water is that way because it too is shaded. It also looks *very* shallow.

Yep, it seems to be only there, a quick fast travel to Nashkel shows that everything is fine.

Thanks again for the help :)
