It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

fadekill: I updated my OS from Win7 to Win10. I can't play BG2 anymore. It's lagging ingame, the screen is flickering slightly and certain desktop symbols show through. Do I have to install the game again with the new client or is there a patch available?
Why are you asking this in a changelog sticky? Make a new thread.

Because I thought it's related to a change they made and I'm asking for a patch. I'm also accustomed to forums where it's rather frowned upon to make a new thread for every small question, instead of asking in a general thread. If that's not the case here then I'm sorry. I'll go ahead and make a thread.

We won't get cloud saves for not-enhaced Baldur's Gate games, right? :(
Well at least we have it in Planescape Torment.

This is Changelog for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, not Baldur's Gate 3.
Patch log for BG3 are in game-page in Galaxy
I literally just had a larger than 1GB update to BG:EE the other day

but thanks, I know what thread I'm in.

If so, you got it before most of us. I still see version 2.5 as the most current download and as the topmost entry in the changelog. How did you get this update? Could you check what version it provided, and find the changelog for us? I think Galaxy should expose this somewhere.
if I knew where to look, sure.

all I know is GOG told me it downloaded an update. I've got file modified dates on 10/27 (others are 9/18) but I don't know if that means much. I did boot the game up and run it to see if anything changed by modification dates stayed the same.

I cannot help you. The website never pushes updates on me. I must check my library at https://www.gog.com/account to see current game versions, and whether anything is new.

PaterAlf: Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga

Changelog for update GOG-4 (Mac) (added 07.10.2015):

- Fixed a file corruption issue with the Mac version of Baldur's Gate: Original Saga.
- This fix applies to all language versions for OS X.
How do I rid myself of the "enhanced" edition, to use only the original game, since it is supposedly bundled in with the ee?

Go to your account and click on Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. Click on more than on Serial Keys and you will get a redeem code for the Original Saga.

This is not possible with Galaxy, you have to use a browser.

If you really want to get rid of the Enhanced Edition, you'll have to contact support and ask them to delete it from your account. Not sure they will do it though.

you can just uninstall it, there is no need to contact support

as for getting the original unlocked, yes a browser [see images] will show you where the key is stored and you just install that game instead... note gog gate uses the same document location for both original and EE so its a bad idea to try running them both on the same system
