I'm having trouble with Windspear hills. It's on my map, but I can't travel there! I click on it and nothing happens. It's not blue like other unexplored areas. I've never been there at all.

I have the acorns from the dryads and I've accepted Firkraags quest, it's in my journal. I tried gong back to the Copper Coronet in hope of gaining the quest anew but he was gone.

I don't want to miss out on the quest n Windspear Hills! Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Um, never mind, I travels to Nalia's keep and suddenly WIndspear was accessible. Very strange. Sorry for wasting your time XD Maybe someone else can benefit from this thread.

I had a similar thing on my first playthrough - turns out that you need to go to the City Gates area in Athkatla and leave through the main gate to access those other areas.
