I just got a new laptop where the native resolution is 1920 x 1080. I ran the setup for BG2 and it runs in a small window and the screen is not centered. Is there a way to get the program to go fullscreen, even if it is not at 1920 x 1080?

Running Windows 10, with and Nvidia 950m.

Thank you.

You need to tell your nVidia control panel to scale on GPU with aspect ratio, and to ignore settings by other applications.

Thank you. In the BGConfig file, should I set the resolution to the default 800 x 600, or to the highest unsupported setting?

Just remember that BG and BG2 have fixed assets designed for 640x480, so 800x600 will be fine. I would not go any higher than 1024x768 (all 6:4 ratios), since everything will become far too tiny to be comfortable.
The Nvidia control panel does not have a scaling option. I played with the antialiasing settings and it is certainly playable, but with a significant border on each side. Should I look at the widescreen mod?

If your Nvidia control panel has no display options, it's because the scaling is being handled by your onboard Intel chip.
Do you have display scaling options in your Intel Graphics Control Panel?

And no, the Widescreen Mod won't fix display scaling problems.

Yes, late last night, I found that the Intel Control Panel has the scaling option which fixed my issue. Thank you.
