I wanted to check and see if BG1&2 would play but it doesn't . I click play and it turns grey like they are going to play but then it goes back to green and does nothing. Can someone help me get these games working so I can play them?
It gives the error message on BG1 the application was unable to start correctly (0x000022) same with BG2.
1. Which versions, original or enhanced?
2. What operating system do you have?
3. What path are you games installed to?
4. Are you running them through GOG Galaxy?

You didn't answer question 3. I asked what path your game is installed to. Mine is in C:\Games\... , for example.

Meanwhile, the error message looks like it could be your antivirus preventing proper execution, so try to disable it temporarily while playing games.
It's in GOG Games.

Must you be difficult?

Edit for clarification: "GOG Games" is not a path.

Difficult? I'm telling you where it shows the game is. Anyways, what ant-virus won't interfere withe games?

It's not the anti-virus. I turned it off but it made no difference.

You were wrong it had nothing to do with the ant-virus. It was a corrupt registry key. Thank you very much.

What Hickory meant by installation directory, is where do you point GOG Galaxy to install your games. I uninstalled that piece of crap, so I cannot show you screenshots to better clarify, but what he meant (and I explain this to you in case you need further assistance another time) is where the game was installed. This is because (older) default installation paths messed with the games and overall, is a good thing to know when helping around.

To check your directory, go to Galaxy/settings and search among the options. You will find something among the lines "installation path" and "download path" (or something like that. I am talking memory here, as I explained, I currently don't have Galaxy installed).

That "installation directory" or whatever is called is what we need to help the diagnose and what you might need to change in the future if some errors on games appear.

Glad to see you managed to get the game running still :)
