Ok, so who's tried BG1 reloaded in NWN2?
It looks pretty good.
It comes with regular BG1 portraits, but I'd seen enough of them.

Checked out the mod page and it looks great.
I don't have NWN2 yet so can't try it out.

Does it include TOTSC parts or just the main game?

I'm amazed this got finished - started in 2006 and just released this month!
A lot of these remakes fall by the wayside as the modders get busy with other stuff or a newer and sparklier engine comes out to try it on.
There was a great looking BG2 version in Dragon Age: Origins engine but I don't think it made it beyond Irenicus' Dungeon or a bit of Athkatla.

I haven't got that far yet, but I don't think so.
I can't see AR0500 or AR1000 in the campaign folder.

I've restarted a few times.
First I was a warlock, but I got my ass handed to me by the rats in Candlekeep.
2nd time I got as far as the Carnival, after freeing Dynaheir, then I found I couldn't drop Minsc without loosing Dynaheir.
In the original you can dump Minsc & Khalid while they are dead & not loose their partners.

Only bugs I've found so far is I couldn't get Xan (a Kobold killed him before I could talk to him.)
And the Revernant Hester was hostile as soon as we entered his cave, so I couldn't give him his dagger back.

And I found Josephs ring on the body of a dead Amish solder (thieving bastard)

I just had another look at the mod page and it says that it includes TOTSC - awesome!
(Maybe they renamed the area files)

If this works as well as it looks like, then this kills the Enhanced Edition twice and hangs it three times.

After I finish my current playthrough of BG1 EasyTuTu (which is a grand improvement over the original version already, now that the Beregost Bug is fixed), I'm going to look into this thing.

Awesome...

I wonder if there will ever be a Balur's Gate II recreation, maybe in the NWN2 engine, or the DA:O engine (or any other engine i which RPG's are created). To be honest, I doubt it. Completing this thing took 7 years, and it is "only" BG1. BG2 is much, much bigger, so it would take even longer. (Now that I'm replaying BG1 in EasyTuTu, it actually feels small compared to how I remember it.... strange.)

I hope there'll be a BG2 version of this, but it'll probably be quite a while. :(

Actually, that BG2 version in Dragon AGe:origin's engine is still in progress, and they frequently update their development blog: http://www.gamersnexus.net/bgr-home
