Hey guys I recently bought BG:EE and I see on forums everywhere that there is a half orc class? When I open my game it isnt there? I only downloaded the game 3 days ago. Do i need to download BG 2 to get the class? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Half-Orc is a race, not a class. And what has BG2 got to do with BG:EE? :/

Sorry I meant to say race :)! I played this game years ago when I was younger with my brother and Iv only really gotten back into PC gaming a few weeks ago! So at the moment im a complete noob for BG! But there is no half orc race for me in BG:EE? Is that meant to be like that? :)

Are we certain you are talking about Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition here? The race is there. Click 'Create character', select your gender, and on the next screen Half-Orc is at the bottom of the races.

Ah I see what I did wrong! When I downloaded the game off GoG I only got the original saga! And that you have to mod in the enhanced edition! I thought I downloaded it all! Sorry about this and many thanks for all the help! :)! Cheers!

Erm, no. The Enhanced Edition is an entirely new game, quite separate from BG1 and BG2., and not available on GOG. :)

Enhanced Edition is largely the same game in terms of content, but completely reworked, so it's a 'new game', and not a simple mod or upgrade of the original BG 1 Vanilla, which is what you bought from GoG.
