Hi Guys,

i am trying to run the Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition for Linux on OpenSuse and can't get it to run properly.
I can see Characters, Npc's and all but i can't see the Background Images from the Environment or the Menu.

Maybe someone here has run in to the same Problem and knows a way around it

What graphical drivers are you using ? Do you have support for s3tc properly installed including for 32-bits (not sure BG EE uses it, but missing backgrounds is a typical problem when it's not) ?

How did you actual solve the problem? Sorry for my noob question but I can't get BGEE to run. Everything but the Chars are black. libtxc doesn't tell me anything. How do you installed that and from where?
I'm on Linux mint 17.
