Well with BGT (Baldur's Gate Trilogy) you play BG1 on the much better BG2 engine. So the proficiencies are BG2's (better I think) so the BG1's proficiencies are gone. It is like BG1 EE before there was EE. This way the characters you develop in BG1 stay with you in BG2, proficiencies, spells, skills. So you can develop Minsc just the way you like him and he wont change when BG2 starts.

Looks interesting. I didnt know there were such mods for Baldur's Gate. I played some with NWN series but not BG.

If you like the BG series then you should try some of the many mod for it. 100's of hours of fun game play!

Just started watching due to this post. Very interesting to see as I've never played BG with mods. I was debating if I should get the EE (with the current specials running) but I think I will save my money and play the originals with mods instead.

This is super cool! I'm playing through BG1 for more or less the first time now. I never got too far when I played it back in the day. I picked up the Enhanced Edition for ease of getting started, but now I'm tempted to try the original with mods for when I move on to BG2. Thanks for showing how cool these mods can be! Very exciting to know that there is so so much additional content out there.
