I am doing an all girl party soon, need some input. The part will consist of:

PC (probably Inquisitor)
Jahiera
Mazzy
Imoen
Nalia
Viconia

Typically I like to go half melee, half ranged. Typically I also tend toward my melee being one two hander, one two weapon, one sword and board. I'm kind of flexible though. Right now I have my PC, Jahiera and Mazzy slated for melee. My question is, do you think Jahiera can do two weapon with her substandard HP? Also, what melee weapon would you opt for for Mazzy, I'm leaning toward axe...
If you're not going to use Mazzy with bows (which is a shame) then I like halberds or bastard swords. I liked her with bastard swords so much that I even modded the Purifier so Mazzy can use it. Just make sure you get her before level 12 so she doesn't waste more proficiencies on shortswords.

For Jaheira, she does fine dual-wielding but only if she's not the main tank character. With Mazzy and your protagonist up front she should be fine. Honestly the Jaheira dual-wield build is more held back by druid weapon selection than anything else. Since scimitars and clubs are the only real 1hand options for her, try to do the druid grove early so you can get Blackblood and Belm. Belm is pretty much the best offhand for her for almost the entire game (though I eventually replaced it for the Spectral Brand/Club of Detonation combo).
Yeah, if I keep Mazzy on bows I'll have 2/3 my part on ranged, meh. My thought with axes was that with Unyielding she'd get more AC, more HP, regen, make her a little tankier. Plus she could use the Azuredge (when appropriate), which I never can with Korgan. And she'd have a shield to add to tankiness. *shrug*

I was thinking Jaheira could use the Spectral Brand/Belm combo, at least when I can get it. Does the Club of Detonation cause friendly fire (heh, pun)? I've also considered giving her spears, though maybe in a different play through.

The Club of Detonation does friendly fire with the fireball effect, but it doesn't really happen THAT often, and it's "only" 10d6 (and you should be making your saves every time by that point). It's normally a good thing anyway, because you're usually surrounded by enemies in ToB. As long as you're not standing next to Aerie all the time or something, you should be fine. The club does pretty ridiculous damage, too. The +5 version does 18 damage a hit on average (not counting the fireball) which is more than pretty much any other one-hander except the Flail of Ages.
Hmmm... hadn't considered Edwina... can I keep her a lady indefinitely? And does it kill the rest of her dialogues if I do?
