Just downloaded this game. Had issues w/ the "Done" button not working and being grayed out when I set up my character. FInally got that to work. Played some, but then tried to save. When I do I just see an icon of a disk?....then when I try to resume the game, the "resume game" is greyed out too - so I have to start all over every single time. Can anyone help me, this game seems really fun, but not this way!

I am running a windows 7 computer, 64 bit w/ a Geforce GT650M card, and have 8 GB ram.

I figure that you just installed the GOG distribution.

What you need to do now is to install Arx Libertatis above it: it is an independant development to fix some of Arx Fatalis bugs and make it compatible with modern systems.

Look at http://arx-libertatis.org/

The "Resume game" will only go back to an already loaded game - you'll need to go to "Load/Save" -> "Load quest" and select the save you want to load.

@dscharrer: he already stated that he had not been able to save, therefore there are NO saves to load.
What he was asking for is to get the game to work correctly (able to save and load normally), and for that the only option is full update including Arx Libertatis.

Oh, I'm definitely not arguing against using AL ;-)
