Hi,
I have a problem installing Arx Fatalis. The installer says that some files are corrupt. I tried downloading the game 3 times now, the problem remains.
When I skip the file integrity check, the installer eventually points out the corrupted file. The first time I downloaded the game it was music.pak, then data.pak.
Is there anything I can do besides try to redownload the game?
Could it be a connection problem, since I'm over here in Europe?

I would say try GOG Customer Support, here GOG Support
They should be able to help you out with this issue. I also have the GOG version of the game, but did not have any issues installing it.
They are nice folk that will give you advice on your troubles.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I managed to instal the game now, although I didn't do anything different this time. Guess it really was just a connection error.

Once you downloaded the game and if that was successful having connection to gog or even the internet would not of mattered. The games are DRM free so no calling home or anything like that which would stop a download. If you run anti virus software that may of caused the corruption if it was scanning the games files whilst you were trying to install it. Eitherway glad to hear you finally got it working.
