Hello,
I recently bought Arcanum and have run into a problem now.
In the first town I take up the quest with the Doc to stop the bank robbers.
In the fight I always come to a point where the "game" stops doing anything.
It is similar to some old Fallout behaviour, where some AI seems to be stuck and therefore the "turn" isn´t progressing.
The lightbulbs of my actionbar are just blinking as if in waitmode for what seems like forever.
Yesterday I managed to finish the fight, but didn´t save. Today now I had this problem like 5 times in a row.
I even made new saves prior to enter the bank. I will try to do it in realtimemode now...but is there any other solution?

-I am running all the updates that are suggested in the stickied thread. (unofficial patch, mapres and hires patch)
I turned down the resolution today, yesterday I played with 1920x1080, but I switched to 1600x900. Can this be the problem? (That my original save on a different resolution?)

And I also noticed that the scrolldistance on 1920x1080 resolution was unlimited.
Now, on 1600x900 it is fixed and I have to use -scrolldist:0. can anyone confirm that behaviour?

edit: After setting the scroll distance to unlimited and re-playing that part I had no more problem.
Strange....
Thanks in advance for the help

Interesting. I was going to recommend you hit the space bar twice to get things moving again. I hadn't heard this solution before, thanks for sharing it.
It's a known issue when playing in turn-based mode. The game apparently gets hung up at certain points, including the Shrouded Hills bank, for reasons unknown (but suspected to be attempting to calculate an action for someone not involved in the battle). Double tapping the space bar toggles between real time and turn-based, giving the bad guys an extra turn but otherwise solving the problem.
