I picked up Arcanum a few days ago and have been greatly enjoying it. However as of level 14 I have ceased to acquire skill points. I thought this might be because I need to gain a few levels before I get them again (a sort of one skill point per such a such level system once you reach a certain level) However I am now level 22 and have still not gotten once since level 14? Is my game glitched out or is there something that I am missing such as training etc. Help please?

Definitely a glitch.

Did you install the Unofficial Patch? (not that I know if this is a known problem)

Best thing to do is start a new file and try and just powerlevel up to level 14 to see if you still aren't getting character points on level up.

Be advised that the unofficial patch doesn't work with unpatched save games, so you won't be able to load your old game when you install the UAP.

As an alternative, have you perhaps accidentally turned on one of the games auto-leveling schemes?

Go to the Character screen, and click the white tile in the upper right-hand corner. The auto-level menu should open up; if it says anything other than "No scheme" then that's where your missing CPs have been going to.

Oh my god that is absolutely what was happening. I had an auto-leveling scheme activated! I have no idea when I pressed that and it was probably by accident! Thank you so much for thinking a little outside of the box otherwise I would have started all over!
