Just curious if there's a version out there. If not are there any emulation patches or something?
or [url=http://www.codeweavers.com/products/]Crossover works well for many Windows games and applications on alternate OSes.
I'm playing it using a community made port. Check the Porting Team

I've never heard of official or unofficial port of arcanum so that's news to me. Link would be nice.
The Porting Team

You will have to sign up for the forums. The port is like an aquarium for the game to live in. You can download a wrapper, which is the port except the game itself is missing (for legal reasons obviously). You can either insert an existing Windows installation or install the game directly into the wrapper.

The port uses Wine technology, so you are still playing the Windows version, except it is all wrapped up in a single Mac application which you just have to double click. no additional stuff needed. if you want to port games yourself you can give Wineskin a try:

EDIT: BTW, the reason you never heard of this port is because it's just a few days old ;)

Just go to Paul the Tall's site (http://www.paulthetall.com/page39/page535/index.html), he has the wineskin wrapper with instruction ready for Mac OSX users.
I can verify that this with Crossover with only one change: I have to run in windowed mode.

Short answer, yes it will. Long answer can be found in the comments section of my wrapper. You install mods the same way you install the main game; if you hold alt when launching the wrapper the Wineskin windo will appear and you can then choose "Install Windows Software".
