I can't choose the amount of gold to transfer by typing the number, only by the + and - buttons on the window and it's getting really annoying.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm playing on a Thinkpad e430 if that helps

Lol didn't even know you could transfere arrows/gold etc by using the numbpads for the ammount, but it makes sense i guess. No ideas for you though, you have made sure that its not the numlock numbers your using with a disabled numlock key?

The laptop has no numeric pad, only the numbers above the regular keyboard. Also, the keys work when writing a save game's name, so I don't think that is the problem

Im gonna ask a really dumb question now then: are you sure its possible to type in ammounts for gold transferes etc?

Maybe you should test if the hotkeys for items work.

The numpad is the only thing that ever worked for me. You could download a program called Autohotkey and reassign some keys you never use to numbers (like change home, end, insert, page up, delete, page down to numpad 0 1 2 3 4 5)

edit: also maybe try toggling the numlock key if you have one
