Hi there!

It appears that I have lost a sprocket needed to repair steam machine in Shrouded Hills. I must have put it in the bin (I'm such a noob) and when I came for it it was gone. Is there any way that I will find it somewhere later in the game, or maybe there is a console like in Baldur's Gate?

Seems I remember you could buy it at a local merchant, might have to go to the next town but it is the sprocket with ``...groth’’ written on it. Check with the merchants in town, might need to wait a day for their inventory to replenish.

Edit: I remember some folks said it could be found in scrap barrels as well.

if you exit just out side of town with world map and return merchants change stock

I've just found the sprocket in Mysterious Ruins of the Wastes in Vendigroth wastes.

I did the same misstake with all my inventory items I didn´t need.........

A n older savegame saved my life.

Beware, this is needed for a later quest . . . so pick the one you want to complete [or figure out which one leaves it in the target's inventory so you can steal it back]. I suggest the later one, as it's worth FAR more experience, and something extra.

I've noticed, but I was able to finish the game without completing the quest later in the game (as I recall I didn't even recieve it due to my high persuasion skill).
