Hello fellow Arcanists!

I have found an interesting dialog between Z'An, Magnus and Loghaire.
If you have Z'An and Magnus in your party and then tell Loghaire about the BMC he will get mad on Z'An for being a Dark Elf to the point of almost attacking her but Magnus stands up for her and they chat for a while.
You will then have a choice to take Loghaire as usual.

It seems like there may be more dialogs like that with the right combination of characters as this one has caught me by surprise.
Magnus is even more hilarious. He is defending a Dark Elf who just recently joined but he keeps telling YOU what is right and what you should not do for the whole game.

I did not find anything about this dialog on other Arcanum web pages so it may not be well known and I wanted to share this with those who are interested.
If I missed it and it is already on this forum then I apologize.
Thank you! I did not know about this. When I spoke to Loghaire, I had Magnus in my party but not Z'An. I observed a different, but equally charming, exchange. I will not spoil it.
I think you get a similar dialogue if you have Loghaire in your party before going to the city of the Dark Elves and picking up Z'An ( you have high enough persuasion to get him to leave with you when you first find him). When you pick up Z'An he protests I'm pretty sure.

Those little things are really great about Arcanum.
Not to hijack the topic, but I have just a quick related question: Are the party members supposed to banter every once in a while like they do in Torment or Baldur's Gate? Because my party is mostly silent. Now and then certain events trigger dialogue with, for example, Virgil or Magnus, but aside from that, they're all but mute.

In my experience with the game the party members do not have Baldur's Gate style group banter.

Yeah, seconding Kithalas, the followers are generally rather silent on things unless you talk to them directly (some have some interesting things to say about different places if you ask them: what do you know about this place?) It was probably a Troika-esque ran-out-of-time-to-implement-everything-they-would-have-wanted thing.

Still, there's a gem here and there. I, for example, will never tire of hearing Gar complain about "killing those nice people for no reason" while slaughtering pigs.
