There used to be a modified .exe with the last official patch that let you remove the hud so you can see the whole area. Like using H key in BG2. I think it was the F10 key but I dont see anything like this now. Tried hitting F10 and nothing happened. I just have the standard Gog version with UOP - no other mods.

Answered it myself; just add -fullscreen to the shortcut.

I found (accidentally) that the "k" key toggles the HUD on and off for me, and I use the -fullscreen shortcut.
