Okay, I've completed the quest in Tarant where I clean Simon Plough's warehouse of pests. I was using some of the crates and chests as temporary storage for certain throwaway items, or items I will need in the future. However, now the game crashes when I try to access a certain crate at that warehouse. I hear the sound event of the crate opening and the game crashes. Windows states it is trying to resolve the problem but never does, of course.

One big problem is that crate had an item or two to complete quests. The two chests and the other crates still work, but that one crate always crashes the game when accessed. I tried reinstalling the game, installing it vanilla, but it still crashes there every time.

I have the unofficial patch, the high-res patch, and the town maps patch.

Is this a known bug, or is my save game corrupt or something? I just finished the Black Mountain quest.
