To change these schemes to your liking, follow these instructions:

1.Copy what I write below ("header of gamelevel") into a new text file, name it gamelevel.mes, and then add in the two posts from this gentlemen copied into the text file. This recreates the gamelevel.mes data file.


Note that what I write below includes the Necromancer scheme so you have a reference point. You should not leave 2 Necromancer schemes in, delete one.

2. Place your gamelevel.mes file into your Arcanum's \data\rules\ folder. Create one if it does not exist.

3. Edit the file as necessary. Note that you must obey existing syntax, use only the provided or existing abbreviations. Also, these schemes will automatically obtain prerequisites in order to reach what is next. This means if you just put ST 20, it will keep putting levels into strength until it hits 20. If you write in melee 20, it will get whatever dexterity is necessary before advancing melee up more, etc.

This should let you change level schemes without extracting the file yourself (kind of a hassle if new to the whole thing).
