What if we want english voiceover with french subtitles for instance?

Is it possible?

I've seen there is now a language switcher for the game, what about it? (I'm at work right now so I can't test it).

You can get the cinematics to play in English with French subtitles (or whatever combination).

In \Alan Wake\data\config\locale_config.xml , under XC_LANGUAGE_FRENCH, change bink_voiceover_channel="7" to ="2". This makes cinematics play with English voiceovers. Then you use Language Setup.exe and set your localization to French.

It only affects the cinematics; in-game voice, manuscripts, and everything else will be in French. I can't figure out how to just do French subtitles and keep English everything else.

Guess I'll keep playing in english exclusively. Too bad they can't all do like CD Projekt for Witcher series.
