Hey all,

I'm not sure whether I'm right or wrong, but it seems like there's no achievements on GOG. This certainly isn't a make-or-break feature for me, but I did notice that Steam has 112 achievements for it, but GOG has none. Figured it could be easy enough to just transfer a bunch, if not all, of the achievements over from there. Is there any particular interest in doing this, and if so, would the devs see it?

Agreed, unfortunately GOG is much less popular platform than Steam and it doesn't look like devs will make time to transfer these achievements. And Age of Decadence is the only game I know where achievements are well thought out and are interesting instead of "you've done XXX 100 times" kind like most or "you've done the thing anyone can do" (like completing some trivial quest or getting an item which you get by default, e.g. Fallout 3 has such pointless and unimaginative achiev.) kind.

You think there might be a way we can contact them and ask? I've heard the guy is kinda hard to reason with, in regards to people pointing out flaws in his game.

On the contrary, he's very open. You can either try RPG Codex (his nick is Vault Dweller) or Iron Tower forum, he resides there.

I don't think that's true. As longs as you're polite and your opinion is well-considered and well-argued, you won't have any problems with him.

Which only shows that you should never form an opinion based on others views or on some baseless rumours. And yes, he does reply on Steam (his nick is Vince).
