On a side note, kudos to the ITS team for continuing to update this game - and so significantly - post release!

Witcher, Shadowrun, Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity - frequent updates seem to be pretty much a norm for modern RPGs, so kudos to all of these people for that! It's kind of great.

Well it's one dude doing all of this, might take some time. For all we know people might have found bugs in the patch in spite of it being released as a beta and now he's getting them fleshed out. Or he finished the patch, got horribly drunk and is still sleeping off the hangover.

From what I gather from the Steam forums the patch is out of beta - has been since I posted that OP. I think there might still be some niggling issues though...

So... I just tried updating, but there were some errors. I figure I probably missed an update, the 4th one. Since it's no longer available (why??) does this mean I need to reinstall the whole game? -_-'

Well I suppose you could probably install GOG Galaxy, add Age of Decadence to it and let automatic updates to sort it out for you

I cringe at the thought of installing another one of those programs... but I suppose I'll give it a try. I do have quite a few GOG games, after all.

If the update works, you can then uninstall Galaxy again, Galaxy games don't need the client to function

There are many people having the errors, but I think the game successfully updates. Vault Dweller (one of the devs) said that the files getting errors aren't even supposed to be involved in this update at all.
