Hi everyone, Jonas from Gears for Breakfast here!

When we started making A Hat in Time, GoG Galaxy was still in early development, so we weren't able to include all the new features that are now present in GoG Galaxy at launch.

However! With the new Seal the Deal DLC, we've taken the time to add support for achievements on GoG Galaxy! Additionally, thanks to the new build system on GoG, we're able to ship GoG updates as frequently as other platforms. Hurray!

Unfortunately there's no way for us to push update logs in the GoG Galaxy backend yet, but once that feature becomes available to developers we will start using that as well.

Thank you so much for enjoying A Hat in Time!
Quicker updates, that would be very helpful.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I noticed that there's been three auto updates so far in Galaxy, so I assumed you were now accessing this elusive dev backend we kept hearing about ;) ... so good! And for a game like this, Achievements are a huge plus. Thank you for taking the time to support GOG/Galaxy the way you are

Glad I waited till now to dive into the game

Thank you very much for the addition of the achievements and for the renewed support to the GOG version of the game, we appreciate it very much!
Hello Jonas you should probably also update the store page that this game now includes achievements so that more people know when they buy the game.

Yup, that’s a selling point for some people
This is really neat. The client integration is welcome.

So from my understanding, game devs can push updates on GOG Galaxy themselves, whereas GOG is responsible for updating the offline installers? If so, I guess that explains why the offline files are still at version 1.01.

Yah, that's how it works... I'm certain there are other developers that have access to this as well because Divinity Original Sin 2 gets updates as quick as Steam does, as does No Man's Sky, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Dead Cells... and others... be great when they let all developers use it... I love Galaxy unlike a lot of people on GOG from everything I read, so I'm okay with getting Galaxy updates like Steam does and then waiting for the offline versions to play catch up
Dang, game just got it's FOURTH update since the DLC hit... LOVE IT! It's like having the best of both worlds ;)
Thanks for adding Achievements to the GOG version.

I agree with others who said you should ask GOG to update the Store page so that it lists Achievements.

Whenever I see a game on GOG with no Achievements, I always check if the same game is available on Steam with Achievements. If it is, then I get peeved, and so 99% of the time I don't buy it from either store.

I can't be the only prospective customer who does that.

I wonder when the offline installers will get updated.

Be intersting to see how GOG handles that... with new versions coming at such a rapid pace, I doubt they'll make offline installers for every incremental version

GOG packing team is a standard 9-5 job.
The offline installers are now up to date.
